Looe Live! a three-day festival where music and arts fill the streets in Looe Lots of performances are taking place on the main stages, on the streets and in venues across the whole town. Looe Live has four stages, including one on the beach, and classical music stage in The festival offers the chance to hear some fantastic music, taste some of the local food and drink, dance on the sea front and get into the full programme of activities and workshops across the town. There are two main areas of the festival, the ticketed main stage venues and the community lead zones. The main stages, at Buller Quay and the BBC Introducing stage on the beach.

Looe Music Festival cancellation less than three weeks before the event!Looe putt together an alternative event to the best of our ability in just 17 days. Pub’s and hotel venues had lined up their own bands. So the community of Looe got back to where the Looe Music Festival all started which was a community event spread across Looe with larger stages for the bigger bands.

The 2017 Looe Lugger Regatta, the weather was’t kind to the Luggers keeping them in the safety of Looe harbour on the Saturday after arriving the day before.
It gave people the chance to look and the Luggers close up and have a chat to the crew. Sunday they had there chance to sail in Looe Bay before heading homeward bound.

The sea was kind enough to enable the adult rafts to set of from the beach to go around the Banjo pier and into Looe harbour, and the kids rafts set of from inside the safety of the harbour.

The New Years Eve Firework displays, the children’s at 6.p.m. and the midnight display to bring in the new year.

The oldest pub in Looe, Ye Olde Jolly Sailor Inn’s 500th anniversary celebrations with PL13 festivals, a great day at the quayside centre with many artists playing on the quay toping it of with Shamrock in the Jolly for the evening performance.
Shamrock played at the Old Sail Loft for the festival of the sea.
21st April the Queen's 90th Birthday Celebrations, the Beacon on the Wooldown East Looe
The Beacon was lit at 7:30pm with a great turnout from the people of Looe.
